How did the Laurier MBA help your career?
Doing the MBA on a part-time basis (with a full-time job) helped me to develop the ability to handle multiple competing priorities. Moreover, I gained valuable experience by interacting with other students from diverse backgrounds.
What opportunities has your MBA degree provided?
The MBA/CMA program provided me with the opportunities to advance my career in the field of risk management. It allowed me to gain strategic insights through the MBA program as well as develop my core technical skills through the CMA component.
What did you like most about your Laurier experience?
The faculty were very approachable and supportive and the curriculum was very current and relevant. The program’s interactive format of delivering the courses worked really well. Additionally, the high level of group interactions in the classes were excellent for developing networks and friendships.
What are your career aspirations?
I hope to add value in a Leadership role in the field of risk management, enjoy what I do, teach and inspire others and try to maintain a good work life balance.
