Spring Term Deadlines

May 5 Spring Term begins
May 11 Final day to drop spring term course(s) with no tuition charge but remain registered (students must remain registered in at least one course), part-time students only
May 12-18 Part-time MBA students who drop any course(s) in this timeframe (even if replaced with another course or courses) will be assessed 10% of the tuition fee for the dropped course(s)
May 18 Final day for late registration and for adding spring term courses. Final day to withdraw from the program at 10% tuition courses
May 19-Jun 30 If you drop a course(s) (part-time MBA students) or withdraw from your graduate program during this time period, you are responsible for 55% tuition. Note:   Students who withdraw from the graduate program must complete theWithdrawal from the Faculty of Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies form.
May 19 Victoria Day, university-observed holiday
June 9-13 Spring Convocation ceremonies; for details visit  www.wlu.ca/convocation
July Canada Day, university-observed holiday
July 1 Final day for withdrawing without failure from spring term courses and for possible tuition adjustment (tuition charge assessed at 55 percent)
July 1 From this date until the end of classes this term if you withdraw from your program (or in the case of part-time MBA students, if you withdraw from a spring term course), you will receive academic penalty (failure) and are responsible for 100% tuition
Aug 1 Application to Graduate, form and fee due for Fall Convocation; see  Tuition and Miscellaneous fees for Graduate Programs;
Aug 2-Oct 1 Late penalty fee applies on Application to Graduate forms received for Fall Convocation
Aug 1 Last day of spring term classes (see August 6 and 7   for make-up class)
Aug 4 Civic Holiday, university-observed holiday
Aug 5 Make-up  Monday  class for Victoria Day
Aug 6 Make-up  Friday  class for Canada Day
Aug 2-14 MBA Final examination period

Aug 21 Fall term classes begin for full-time MBA students
