The Laurier School of Business & Economics and CMA Canada-Ontario have joined forces to launch Canada’s first fully-integrated MBA with CMA Option program.
Laurier students are fully prepared for their CMA Case Exam and Board Reports. Laurier’s graduates of the MBA with CMA program have achieved a 100% pass rate on the CMA exam since 2007, and their exam performance consistently surpasses the national average, more so than any other institution.
Using Laurier’s MBA curriculum, our students complete the requirements for both the degree and the designation in ten terms. Laurier’s unique integrated curriculum incorporates management accounting knowledge into the course requirements, so that graduates will gain broad-based management skills as well as key financial expertise.
This program will provide you with the practical and theoretical knowledge required to excel in a competitive business environment. CMAs are strategic financial management professionals who combine accounting expertise with management skills to provide leadership, innovation and an integrated perspective to organizational decision-making.

Class Schedule:
Laurier’s weekend format MBA with CMA Option is a 10-term program that is normally completed in three years plus four months. Classes are held Friday evenings and all day Saturday on alternating weekends for approximately 20 weekends per year.
Friday – 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm
Saturday – 8:30 am to 5:15 pm

Class Structure:
The Laurier MBA program incorporates the strategic leadership program into our integrated core. All Laurier MBA students have advantage and option of choosing the CMA designation in the fifth term of study.
During elective stage of our degree, we have designed the courses to cover all of the CMA content, as well as two full half credit courses to prepare you for the Board report and case exam. As a Laurier student you will jump to part 2 of the exam, part 1 is eliminated because you are completing the Laurier degree.
