MicheÃ¡l J. Kelly, Dean, School of Business & Economics, Wilfrid Laurier University Presented Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal at CATA’s Innovation Gala

Canadian innovation leader, MicheÃ¡l J. Kelly, Dean, School of Business & Economics, Wilfrid Laurier University was honoured at the CATAAlliance Innovation & Leadership Innovation Awards Gala in Ottawa as he was presented with the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal by CATAAlliance CEO, John Reid.
“We are pleased to present the Diamond Jubilee Medal to Dean Kelly in recognition of his commitment to innovation and educational excellence in our communities”, said Reid. We are very proud to be continuing more than twenty years of collaborative work with Dr. Kelly in helping make Canada a number one Innovation Nation.”
CATAAlliance and partners are helping to spearhead i-CANADA, a movement to create an Intelligent Nation, comprised of communities with digital inclusion, employment growth and investment-worth innovation.
The Diamond Jubilee Medal celebrates the 60th Anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II ascending the throne as Queen of Canada. In celebration of her service to the country, the medals have been bestowed on individuals who have made their own contributions to the community and to Canada.
